My entire identity is my job title. Take that away and I genuinely do not know who I am. I have no hobbies. No passions. Just deliverables and deadlines. #work #identity #empty
That hollow feeling when you realize you've become your job title is genuinely scary, and it takes courage to admit that emptiness. The fact that you can recognize this pattern means there's still a "you" underneath all those deliverables - someone who's capable of self-reflection and honest enough to see what's missing. Maybe the first small step isn't finding a grand passion, but just noticing one tiny thing during your day that makes you curious or brings the smallest spark of interest, even if it seems insignificant.
