What ConfessIt is
ConfessIt is an anonymous confession platform where people share personal thoughts, secrets, and experiences and receive an automated AI perspective. ConfessIt is not a mental health service, therapy platform, crisis helpline, or professional counselling service. If you are in crisis, please contact a professional helpline in your region.
What you can post
You may post personal thoughts, secrets, reflections, and lived experiences. Content should be genuine and posted in good faith.
What you cannot post
The following content is strictly prohibited:
- Hate speech or content promoting violence against any group or individual.
- Content that sexualises minors in any form.
- Targeted harassment that identifies private individuals for abuse.
- Detailed instructions for self-harm or suicide.
- Spam, automated posts, or advertising.
- Content that violates any applicable law.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules without prior notice.
Content ownership
You retain ownership of the content you post. By submitting a confession, you grant ConfessIt a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform and in associated share cards and previews.
AI disclaimer
AI-generated responses on ConfessIt are automated perspectives produced by a large language model (Anthropic Claude). They are not therapy, medical advice, legal counsel, or professional guidance of any kind. AI responses may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or incomplete. You should not rely on them for any decision that affects your health, safety, or legal standing.
Anonymity
ConfessIt does not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information. However, we cannot guarantee complete anonymity from determined state actors, network-level observers, or sophisticated technical adversaries. Use at your own discretion.
Content removal
We may remove or restrict content at our sole discretion for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these terms. You may request removal of your own confession by emailing contact@confessit.in with the confession URL or content.
Limitation of liability
ConfessIt is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to emotional distress caused by content posted by other users or generated by the AI system.
